We actually build the DADU at a “Fixed Cost.“
The fixed cost part is essential since we must determine the equity position (percentage split) between the Property Owner and SkyDADU at the beginning. If you do not have the correct and final numbers at the beginning of the investment, how can you split the rental income or the DADU net profit appropriately [with the stipulation that a partial reconveyance of title is approved by the first position deed holder]?
